  • The Tidwell Middle School Varsity Tenor/Bass Choir sang at the American Choral Directors Association National Convention in Dallas this past March.
  • The Flower Mound HS Orchestra had two students Tai and Jin Han, who were finalists in the Lynn Herrall Concerto competition. Tae will perform with the National Youth Orchestra this summer and Jin was recently featured on the nationally syndicated radio program "from the Top" which airs on NPR.
  • Michael Leonas, choir director at Navo MS is a quarter finalist for the 2026 GRAMMY music educator award.
  • Krum HS, Brandon Huff, director, received the prestigious Sudler Shield international award which is sponsored by the John Philip Sousa Foundation and recognizes high school, youth, and international marching bands achieving world-class excellence in performance, marching execution, choreography, and show design.
  • Marcus HS, Jeff Jones, director, received the prestigious Sudler Shield international award which is sponsored by the John Philip Sousa Foundation and recognizes high school, youth, and international marching bands achieving world-class excellence in performance, marching execution, choreography, and show design.
  • The Shadow Ridge MS Honor Winds, Ross Patterson and Adrienne Schuster, directors, have been selected to perform at the 2025 Midwest International Band & Orchestra Clinic held in Chicago in December.
  • The Byron Nelson Clarinet Choir was selected to perform at the International Clarinet Association's ClarinetFest to be held in Fort Worth in July.
